Wrongs are meant to be made right,
To be forgiven,
To never be repeated,
To be explained,
And understood,
Solved and forgotten.
But why didn’t you listen?
Why didn’t you take your time to listen?
I ran after you,
Fell and hurt my knees,
My breath weakened,
I wanted to talk, be heard, be understood,
But mine was not in vain,
They just didn’t care, what I had to say.
Giving up was never in my mind,
I thought and told myself,
You will see my sore eyes, weakened heart, bleeding knees,
And take a moment to listen,
But I was wrong,
He had gone past the explanation,
The listening ear gone deaf.
I lost him,
I didn’t see this coming,
Am not ready, I am shaken ,
I want to shout, scream, wear myself out,
But the strength is all drained,
All I can do now I’d stare at his photos,
Spell his name,
Go through the wild yet lovely chats,
Until I cannot feel the pain anymore.
